Art, as a constant inner  journey, gives us the chance to get closer to the living source from which the creative act flows.

It is a bridge between earth and heaven,

between the visible and the invisible."

"Marian Spirituality Through Art" is an experience of faith and devotion to the Virgin Mary, a response to the inner call that longs for closeness to God’s grace through the beauty of art.

When art becomes a process of spiritual search and discovery, we are drawn into the creative act from a different dimension, one where the artwork invites us to explore transcendence and unveils a new vision of life and of ourselves.

In the exhibit "Roses for Mary," dedicated to the Virgin, each rose symbolizes an offering of the heart to the Mother of our Redeemer, who longs for a promised heaven for all of us, a heaven that want´s to be  near,  and become visible.

It is a call to conversion, inspiring us to pray and to believe in God's promise that guides us.

In this first exhibit, inspired by Virgin Mary,  I seek to exalt the image of the rose as a symbol ever-present in Christian devotion to the Virgin, both Catholic and Orthodox. I also make reference to the name Mary, which means "exalted" or "chosen," from the ancient Greek Myriam.

This is an invitation, through devotional art, to get into an inner journey in search for spiritual light, where the three theological virtues shine brightly: Faith, Hope, and Charity. These virtues are deeply present in the life and work of the Virgin Mary, who comes to us today as an inexhaustible treasure of faith, a presence of strength and humility, immaculate purity, and a gift of life for all, a living example of unconditional surrender to the love of God.

Through these works, I invite you to walk through a space of light and color, that has a message of Marian Spirituality, a gift of peace, joy, and faith expressed through the path of art.
